We kindly ask you to read and accept these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with ARNE AKSEL Danmark ApS.
These Terms and conditions apply for everyone purchasing ARNE AKSEL products or any transaction between the customer and ARNE AKSEL - whether it is online or physical.
ARNE AKSEL is a design company creating campaigns in different settings, different lighting and with edited images. We do, however, always strive to use the best possible equipment to provide a holistic view of how our products look in different environments and in different settings.
Payment methods include - Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron.
Online
ARNE AKSEL reserves the right to accept, refuse, cancel or hold any order you place with us. Once we’ve received your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email that indicates the order number and contains information about the details of your order and the expected delivery timeline.
Physical
ARNE AKSEL reserves the right to accept, refuse, cancel or hold any order you place with us. The offer is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt. If the offer is accepted after the 30 days price changes may occur. Once you have accepted the offer, you’ll receive an invoice summarizing your order. When payment has been received, your curtains will be put into production and the expected lead time of 5-8 weeks starts. ARNE AKSEL always strives to deliver and fit your curtains within 5-8 weeks, after payment has been received. Longer lead time is to be expected in busy periods. All curtains are delivered and fitted by Arne Aksel employees to ensure you get the best possible experience.
The price for delivery and installation is from 4.500 DKK. If you wish shipping of your rails and curtains the price will be defined regarding the amount of products and final shipping address.
Prices for deliveries to locations outside Region Hovedstaden are established from project to project. Unfortunately, we are not able to send rails to foreign countries due to shipping complications, but we are happy to guide you to the best retailer near you.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders within EU will include 25% VAT (DK tax) – the Danish VAT of 25% is deducted on international orders (outside EU).
Please note that any extra taxes and/or duties due to the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

FLOATING
The finish is 1 cm above the floor. The lengths can vary from 0.1 cm above the floor to 2.5 cm above the floor.
FLOORING
The finish is 4 cm on the floor. The lengths can vary from 2.5 cm on the floor up to 5.5 cm on the floor.
Curtains that live up to these criteria (intervals) are considered ‘perfect’ and ARNE AKSEL is not adjusting nor returning curtains that live up to this.
Be aware that fabrics are a ‘living’ material, meaning that some natural stretch and slight variation in length (+/-1,5 cm) can occur. The specified width of curtains is approximate.
Miscolours and/or stains
If the customer finds any stains or miscolours in the fabric, or if the fabric in some way evolves differently than expected from a ‘living material’ the Danish ‘Købelov’ and ‘rights of complaint’ apply providing consumers 2 years of complaint period from the delivery date.
Measurements
If Complaints about measurements that conflict with ARNE AKSEL’s finish definitions of FLOATING and FLOORING as described‘Curtain measurements (Heights)’, is given to ARNE AKSEL within 30 days after delivery, ARNE AKSEL will adjust (not return) the curtain so it aligns with the finish description.
If the complaint arrives at ARNE AKSEL after 30 days, ARNE AKSEL is not responsible for adjusting the delivered curtains.This is due to the nature of textile as a living material (see Fabric / Living material)
Measurements made by the customer
ARNE AKSEL does not take responsibility for measurements made by the customer. We do, however, always strive to guide the customer at our best to ensure correct measurements. If the customer is in doubt, ARNE AKSEL recommends setting up an online consultation - ARNE AKSEL loves to guide our customers.
Rails falling down
ARNE AKSEL provides fitting of the absolute highest standard and service. All ceilings are unique and sometimes rails happen to fall down. ARNE AKSEL refit curtain rails that have fallen down due to natural causes within 6 weeks. Rails that have been fallen down for unnatural causes are out of ARNE AKSEL’s responsibility, and ARNE AKSEL does not refit these rails.
No returns
We always design our curtains on a made-to-measure and made-to-order basis - no standard measurements and solutions. Therefore, ARNE AKSEL does not accept returns or cancellations. Incase of any manufacturing or weaving faults (see miscolours and stains), we will re-deliver your curtains without extra charge (see Claims)
Moving curtains
ARNE AKSEL is a design company specialised in creating atmosphere in fabrics. Therefore, ARNE AKSEL does not commit to move curtains in the case of the customers private movement plans.Our fitting and delivery service is a service provided primarily for new ARNE AKSEL curtains and not after sales service.
